About KoreaFare

KoreaFare is a small independent site made in Seoul. We ride this subway every day and got tired of seeing visitors guess at fares, overpay for airport taxis, or miss the last train.

Every number on this site is checked against Seoul Metropolitan Government fare notices, Seoul Metro, AREX and the Seoul Taxi fare table, and we note the date of the last check in the footer. Fares in Korea change roughly once a year — if you spot one that's out of date, tell us.

Calculators give estimates. Taxi meters depend on traffic and route; subway fares depend on the exact station pair. Treat the results as "close enough to budget with", not as official quotes.
